Before:  the owners hated the center island, saying it made the space feel too claustrophobic. 

After:  no island.  The small walk-in pantry has been replaced by the large refrigerator.  Large pantry cabinets are in the right corner of the kitchen now. 

Before: the wall facing the (now enlarged) screened porch will be opened up and decluttered. 

After:  new pantry cabinets in the corner, a new Pella window looking onto the porch, and a new 8' wide sliding glass door where the single door and window used to be. 

Before:  these windows and door will be replaced by an 8' wide sliding door.  The wall between the kitchen and the dining room (to the right of frame) will be removed to open up the space. 

After:  the kitchen flows into the dining room now.

After:  a breakfast peninsula faces the open dining area now.
