The rear porch is screened but the side and front porches are not.  Continuity of the porch flooring, porch depth, and repeated columns ensure a smooth transition from one space to the other.

Special touch:  a round accent window opposite the pocket door of the powder room.

Curbless shower in the master bathroom (achieved by heading off the floor joists and installing shallower joists beneath the shower floor).

The husband loves to watercolor paint, so I designed a corner art studio for him. It was arranged next to the mudroom so I could position a sink next to the washer that's easily accessed via a small pass-thru.  This also allows some sunlight from the studio to reach the mudroom.
